Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Financial Leader to join our team as Chief Financial Officer - Construction. This key role will lead the accounting and finance function, providing strategic financial guidance and partnering with our CEO and Executive Leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Leadership
    • Develop and implement annual budgeting processes, establishing key strategic financial goals.
    • Lead the Accounting and Finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Accounting and Finance Management
    • Develop and manage the accounting talent, building a high-performing finance team.
    • Manage external relationships with CPA/Tax firms, regulatory bodies, and vendors.
    • Implement structured working capital management and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Financial Analysis and Planning
    • Analyze and identify cost efficiencies, implementing risk management practices to protect the company's financial health.
    • Provide guidance on capital expenditures and investments, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field.
  • MBA, Master's Degree in Finance, or CPA preferred but not essential.
  • Minimum 10 years of Executive Finance Leadership experience in the Construction Industry.
  • ERP systems experience, including Timberline/Sage300, Procore, or similar.
  • Demonstrated track record of team development and leadership, with strong strategic planning and Executive Communication skills.
