Job Summary: Governors State University's College of Health and Human Services seeks to fill adjunct faculty positions in health administration. Responsibilities:

  • Teach in multiple areas of healthcare management

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate or Master's degree in Health Management, Health Administration, Public Health, Health Policy, health services research; or related discipline and documented work experience at the senior management level in a health services organization
  • Successful teaching experience at the graduate or undergraduate level
  • Ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to teach at least one of the areas: Financial management, Informatics, Accounting, Quality improvement with Lean Six Sigma
  • Health care industry experience in health care leadership and Fellow in the American College of Health Care Administrators is a plus
