Job Overview

The Electrical Project Coordinator is essential in facilitating the effective delivery of electrical projects. This role demands a combination of technical knowledge and strong communication skills to manage and supervise various elements of electrical initiatives from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure all project specifications are fulfilled.

2. Analyze project documentation, including specifications and drawings, to comprehend the project scope and requirements.

3. Evaluate electrical designs and schematics to guarantee adherence to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

4. Address technical challenges and offer creative solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

5. Work alongside project management teams to assist in the procurement of electrical materials and equipment.

6. Assess material submissions to confirm compliance with project standards and specifications.

7. Liaise with field personnel to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.

8. Maintain comprehensive project records, including shop drawings, RFIs, and other relevant documentation.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in electrical project coordination or similar roles.

2. In-depth technical understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards.

3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities.

5. Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.

6. Proficiency in modeling and coordinating projects in 3D using AutoCAD MEP, Revit, and Navisworks.

7. Skill in producing detailed shop drawings utilizing AutoCAD MEP and Revit.

8. Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu for PDF markups and takeoffs.

9. Competence in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.

10. OSHA 30 and SST certifications are preferred.

11. Experience working in the field with project superintendents, foremen, and other personnel is advantageous.
