Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Underwriter to join our team at IMA Financial Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for creating and managing a profitable book of new and renewal business, while delivering exceptional customer service to our retail agents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage a profitable book of new and renewal business, including prospecting for new business and developing relationships with retail agents.
  • Deliver quotes and binders to retail agents, while remaining up-to-date with new insurance company offers.
  • Mentor and train new team members, while assisting in day-to-day operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including participating in advanced discussions and decision-making.
Requirements
  • Five to ten years of E&S binding authority experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferred.
  • Knowledge of the sales process and understanding of pipeline management.
  • Excellent analytical skills, including verbal and written communications skills.
  • Moderate travel required.
  • Applicable state P&C and Surplus Lines License.
