Responsibilities:
Position

Overview:

This role entails providing clinical case consultation and development to Specialists.

Supervisors are available on-call 24/7 in accordance with the program's on-call schedule, offering crisis intervention as necessary.


Deliver clinical guidance to counselors/specialists in alignment with the treatment model, which includes weekly management of group supervision through direct case review, overseeing the treatment planning process, case management, and monitoring case progress.

Attend consultations and follow up on recommendations.

Actively engage in program meetings alongside other supervisors/managers and participate in personal career and development discussions with the Regional Supervisor and/or Licensed Program Expert.


Facilitate and coordinate quality training for counselors/specialists, demonstrating the ability to instruct on the program treatment model and other recommended training sessions.

Provide on-the-job training for newly hired specialists and oversee overall staff development.

Review and approve clinical and organizational documentation (e.g., mileage, timecards) submitted by direct reports promptly for quality assurance and performance enhancement.
  • Assist in the recruitment process for new specialists as needed.
Offer support to counselors/specialists in managing their duties and responsibilities, providing case coverage as required.

Effectively engage and cultivate customer relationships, assisting in the marketing/referral process to enhance program growth.

Conduct family assessments as necessary.

Additional Information

The schedule is flexible and non-traditional, tailored around the availability of the youth and families served.

Applicants must possess a valid driver's license, a personal vehicle for work purposes, and auto insurance.

Community-based staff will be reimbursed for applicable mileage.

Qualifications:
Requirements

Master's degree in a social services discipline (required)

Experience with direct case work (required)

At least six months of experience working in Intercept (strongly preferred)

Eligible for DMH credentials (preferred)
