Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Collision Repair Specialist Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the repair process of customer vehicles, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of technicians in the repair of customer vehicles, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  2. Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to identify the necessary repair work.
  3. Develop and implement repair plans, taking into account the customer's needs and the vehicle's specifications.
  4. Supervise and train technicians to ensure that they are working safely and efficiently.
  5. Maintain accurate records of repairs, including estimates, invoices, and quality control metrics.
  6. Collaborate with estimators and other team members to ensure that all customer needs are met.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in collision repair.
Requirements
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  2. 3+ years of experience in collision repair, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
  3. Demonstrated expertise in body repair methods and techniques.
  4. Ability to operate equipment necessary to perform collision repair functions, including lift equipment, welding machines, and sanders.
  5. Valid driver's license required.
  6. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in timekeeping and inventory management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field.
  2. Industry certifications, such as I-CAR or ASE, preferred.
  3. Experience with estimating software and collision repair documentation.
Work Environment

Collision Repair Specialist Leads will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with exposure to loud noise, vibration, and other hazardous conditions. Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds and pass an OSHA respiratory medical exam.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience.
