Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team at Planet Technology. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in software testing and quality assurance, with a strong emphasis on automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated testing solutions using tools such as Selenium.
  • Conduct manual and exploratory testing to ensure software quality.
  • Create comprehensive test plans and define test cases.
  • Track defects and report findings through dashboards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance testing frameworks.
  • Lead multiple projects and mentor junior team members.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related IT field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years in IT, with at least 8 years in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Proven experience in developing automated tests and frameworks for various applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Java development and experience with mobile testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems.
  • Experience with SQL and exposure to ATDD/TDD practices.
