Position Overview:

The Healthcare Customer Support Specialist (HCSS) plays a crucial role in the healthcare team, reporting directly to the Nurse Manager. This position is responsible for facilitating effective communication among various stakeholders, including patients, families, healthcare professionals, and external partners. The HCSS serves as the primary point of contact for inquiries, whether in person or via telephone.

The role involves a variety of essential tasks that support medical, nursing, and administrative staff in achieving departmental and institutional objectives. Responsibilities include assisting in the coordination, planning, development, and execution of assigned projects. The HCSS also oversees front desk operations and administrative functions, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Shift: Full-time, Day shift, 8:00 am - 3:30 pm

Qualifications:

  • A foundational knowledge in healthcare administration or office management, typically acquired through an Associate's degree; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in customer service, data management, time management, and office management is preferred.
