Job Summary

The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting our team of dermatologists in delivering exceptional patient care. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks, including patient intake, medical procedures, and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and vital signs
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment
  • Assist with medical procedures, including setting up and sterilizing instruments
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as responding to patient inquiries and maintaining accurate records
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent customer service
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Medical Assistant experience or equivalent in a high-volume medical setting
  • Completion of a technical/vocational training school program with CMA, AAMA, RMA, or CCMA certification
  • Previous experience scribing in the room for a provider
  • Current CPR, First Aid, or BLS certification
  • Ability to speak and write English fluently
Working Conditions

This role requires:

  • Ability to move from one location to another within and outside of the building
  • Push, pull, and reach; bend; stand, walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work 8-10+ hour shifts and be available for overtime when necessary
