About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Support Associate to join our Interim Housing team at PATH (People Assisting the Homeless). As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our program participants and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the Interim Housing site's facilities and grounds for any concerns or issues.
  • Build rapport with participants to engage them in maintaining safety at the site.
  • Provide assistance and support during crisis situations.
  • Assist with implementing security and support systems, protocols, and policies.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience working with vulnerable populations and/or security and/or de-escalation/nonviolent crisis intervention.
  • Ability to work effectively with others, seeking out and building positive working relationships.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
