Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As a Physical Therapist at Island Nursing & Rehab Center, your primary responsibility will be to provide physical therapy services to our residents. This includes assessing patients' initial status, developing therapy plans, and instructing patients and families on programs that enhance and facilitate care.

You will also be responsible for reporting patients' ongoing status and discharge plans, as well as complying with all regulatory criteria. Additionally, you will provide professional leadership and clinical guidance to team members and adhere to all aspects of customer service.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current New York State Physical Therapy License required
  • Graduate from a physical therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the American Medical Association
  • A minimum of one year experience as a physical therapist
  • Ability to make clinical and managerial decisions within the scope of professional practice
