The Tablet Press Technician II - 1st shift (Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:15 PM) is tasked with overseeing the operations of tablet press and/or encapsulation machinery to guarantee the safe and quality production of pharmaceutical products.

This role involves setting up, fine-tuning, and diagnosing issues with tablet press and/or encapsulation machines, ensuring that all manufacturing processes adhere to established standard operating procedures.


Key Responsibilities:
Conducts tablet press and/or encapsulation machine operations, processes, and protocols. Facilitates the manufacturing efforts for designated processes involving tablet press and/or encapsulation machinery.

Responsible for machine setup, operation, tooling modifications, adjustments, and troubleshooting related to tablet press and/or encapsulation equipment.

Ensures the efficiency and compliance of tablet press and/or encapsulation machinery to meet quality manufacturing standards and predefined routing times.

May oversee the training of new employees or provide retraining for existing staff to ensure adherence to all standard operating procedures.

Maintains accurate quality and production documentation. Reviews all assigned batch records to ensure accuracy and completeness. Performs general maintenance and troubleshooting of tablet press and/or encapsulation machinery and associated equipment. Analyzes daily production against defined routings and proposes ideas for continuous improvement. May collaborate with Technical Services, Maintenance, and Engineering teams on new equipment, exception investigations, and equipment qualifications.

Promotes a safe working environment and ensures that all team members are executing their responsibilities in compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.

Education & Experience Requirements:


A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, packaging, or mechanical maintenance environment.

Experience with automated machinery and/or manufacturing equipment is preferred. Proven mechanical troubleshooting skills are advantageous. Strong verbal communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with leadership and team members.
