Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale transmission gas projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and schedules to ensure financial goals and timelines are achieved.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with field leaders, customers, and suppliers.
    • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards throughout project lifecycle.
  • Project Management
    • Lead cross-functional project teams, including engineers, project managers, and contractors, to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
    • Develop detailed cost estimates for transmission gas projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
    • Prepare and present cost estimation reports and summaries to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key assumptions and potential risks.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise a team of 5+ employees and have P&L responsibility of >$20M as the business grows.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • 4-year college degree preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong written and verbal communications.
    • Ability to work well within teams and individually.
    • Well-connected within the transmission pipeline industry.
    • Motivated, self-starter with a strong desire to build something.
    • Significant pipeline and station estimating experience.
    • 5+ years project management experience.
    • 5+ years leadership experience.
    • 10+ years industry experience.
    • Understanding of budgets, construction accounting, and forecasting a must.
    • Computer skills - Proficient in MS Office and able to learn new programs quickly.
    • Project estimating experience preferred.
    • Highly organized and able to multi-task.
    • Thorough knowledge of DOT, OSHA, EPA, and other applicable state and federal regulations.
