Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Culinary Assistant to join our team at Mount Alverna Village, a vibrant senior living community in Parma, Ohio. As a key member of our Dining Services team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality food preparation and presentation for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare food daily according to menus, adapting recipes as needed to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
  • Coordinate and participate in serving food, ensuring attractive presentation and portion control.
  • Maintain accurate records of chargeable meals and submit reports to the office by designated deadlines.
  • Assist with menu planning, reviewing and adjusting menus to accommodate seasonal ingredients, vendor sale prices, and special events.
  • Identify and report food and supply needs for upcoming menus, ensuring proper storage and handling of delivered foods and ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
