The Dining Services Assistant plays a vital role in supporting all culinary operations under the supervision of the Dining Services Director, Executive Chef, or Supervisor. Responsibilities encompass delivering prepared meals, serving food, and maintaining cleanliness in dining spaces. This position may require working independently or collaboratively to prepare meals for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve and manage food in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in dining areas and kitchen preparation spaces
  • Reset dining areas post-meals
  • Safely handle trays, utensils, tableware, and linens
  • Engage respectfully with residents

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food service is advantageous
  • Availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays
  • Passion for working with senior individuals
