The Dining Services Assistant plays a vital role in supporting all aspects of dietary operations under the supervision of the Dining Services Director, Executive Chef, or Supervisor. Key responsibilities include delivering prepared meals, serving food, and maintaining cleanliness in dining facilities. This position may require working independently or collaboratively to prepare meals for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve and manage food in accordance with sanitation standards
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in dining areas and preparation kitchens
  • Reset dining spaces post-meals
  • Safely handle trays, utensils, tableware, and linens
  • Engage respectfully with residents

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Prior experience in food service is preferred
  • Availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays
  • Genuine enjoyment in working with senior populations
