Key Responsibilities- Student Support: Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Classroom Assistance: Provide direct support to teaching staff, helping to implement lesson plans, behavior support plans, and Applied Behavior Analysis principles.
- Organization and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, including supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in scheduled meetings, trainings, and work hours, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and employee morale.
- Education: High School Diploma or less than 60 credit hours
- Experience: Experience in special education instruction, working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and mental health diagnoses
- Certifications: Level 1 Medication Aid (obtained within 6 months of employment)
- Physical Fitness: Successful completion of the POET assessment prior to commencement of employment
