POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are in search of a dedicated and knowledgeable on-site Print Shop Manager with a strong background in the printing sector, ready to become a vital part of our team.

*Experience in Printing and Large Format Production is Essential*

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Collaborates with shop and remote leadership to deliver administrative and managerial assistance for the assigned shop.
  2. Aids the Shop Manager in coordinating the shop workforce during standard hours or in overtime situations.
  3. Oversees production jobs and communicates with production and graphics specialists regarding any specific instructions, proofs, and shipping details.
  4. Engages with clients to clarify specifications and address inquiries related to submitted print jobs.
  5. Ensures that all project timelines are adhered to and that associated budgetary constraints are respected.
  6. Trains shop personnel on appropriate production methods and practices.
  7. Guarantees that equipment is maintained and upgraded properly, and recommends new acquisitions to enhance productivity.
  8. Manages inventory and organization of supplies efficiently.
  9. Addresses all customer escalations professionally.
  10. Provides support across various departments as required.
  11. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED SKILLS:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  2. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a related field.
  3. Proficiency in Grand Large Format Printing.
  4. Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate team members.
  5. Exceptional customer service skills with experience in direct client interactions.
  6. Effective communication abilities for delegating tasks and explaining procedures.
  7. Expertise in equipment and materials used in the printing industry.
  8. Ability to articulate department capabilities and company offerings to potential and existing clients.
  9. Highly developed organizational skills.
  10. Capacity to manage multiple tasks while maintaining focus.
