Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Railway Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Alstom. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and inspecting rail equipment, as well as performing basic troubleshooting and wheel machine operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining rail equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Inspecting rail equipment to identify potential issues and perform repairs
  • Performing basic troubleshooting and wheel machine operations
  • Replacing rail components as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or warehouse work is a plus
  • Ability to read and understand safety instructions, manuals, and directives
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, sometimes up to 50 pounds
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions

Salary: $28.68/hour
