K2 Construction LLC is a leading provider of geothermal services in the Midwest. We are seeking a highly skilled Geothermal Drill Rig Operator to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to operate our geothermal drill rigs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in drilling operations and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate geothermal drill rigs to drill wells for commercial and residential clients
  • Conduct pre-drilling site assessments and develop drilling plans
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure safe and efficient drilling operations
  • Perform routine maintenance on drill rigs and equipment
  • Travel to job sites throughout the Midwest

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience drilling wells
  • Experience with geothermal drilling procedures and closed loop systems a plus
  • Rigs are top head drive, Schramm knowledge preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
