Job Description

As a member of our Rail Geotechnical and Construction Services team, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and develop your technical and soft skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist geotechnical engineers and construction managers with project tasks and deliverables
  • Support the soils laboratory and participate in field activities, including drilling operations and construction observation
  • Develop geotechnical designs, calculations, and deliverables for railroad-related projects

About the Team:

Our Rail Geotechnical and Construction Services team supports various railroad-related projects across the country. We work with multiple Class 1 railroads, short lines, industries, and public agencies in the rail market. Our team provides a range of services, including geotechnical design, construction management, track design, bridge design, hydrology and hydraulics, utility design, signal design, grade crossings, environmental, construction material testing, survey, non-destructive testing, real estate coordination, facilities, and emergency response services.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the company
