About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Music Therapist to join our team at LittleStar ABA Therapy. As a Music Therapist, you will work with children, teens, and young adults affected by autism, providing music therapy services in a professional office setting and in the client's home or community-based facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct music therapy assessments to determine appropriate goals for each client.
  • Create and implement approved treatment plans based on music therapy assessments.
  • Track data per session and report progress on quarterly reports submitted to the treatment team.
  • Communicate with clients' families regarding services and with the Waiver Services Director regarding all developments, problems, or concerns.
  • Maintain client and family confidentiality per LittleStar policy and HIPAA Privacy Rule Regulations.
Requirements
  • Hold a minimum bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in music therapy.
  • Hold MT-BC certification designated by the Certification Board of Music Therapists.
  • Possess or be able to obtain CPR and First aid certification annually.
  • Have experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
  • Be a positive team player and energetic professional with strong organizational and time management skills.
