Join our team as an Activity Therapist at Sycamore Springs, part of Lifepoint Behavioral Health. We offer a competitive compensation package, flexible scheduling, and a range of benefits, including: Medical, dental, and vision plans Up to 16 days of PTO for full-time employees 6 paid holidays for full-time employees Tuition reimbursement 401(k) retirement plan Flexible spending and health savings accounts In this role, you will: Apply appropriate theory and standards for therapeutic practices Assess patient needs and capabilities in groups and with specific activities Document patient responses to interventions and contribute to assessment workload balance Formulate treatment programs in accordance with attending physician's treatment orders Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, or similar field Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, preferably with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients Current certification/license/registration required per state of practice guidelines CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training within 30 days
