We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Speech Fundamentals courses at our institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student learning, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Speech Fundamentals courses to students at various skill levels
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student learning through various methods, including quizzes, exams, and presentations
  • Provide feedback to students on their performance and progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to departmental decisions
Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Communications, Speech, Public Communications, or Speech/Theater with 18 graduate hours in Speech
  • Prior teaching experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
