Role Overview

The University of Manchester is seeking a skilled professional to join its Faculty of Humanities Communications, Marketing and Recruitment team. As a Research Communications Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the impact of research and the reputation of the university.

You will work closely with academics, research project teams, and Research Institutes to develop and implement effective research communications strategies. This will involve collaborating with the wider research communications and engagement community in the university to showcase the breadth and depth of research in the Faculty of Humanities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement research communications strategies to enhance the impact of research and the reputation of the university
  • Work closely with academics, research project teams, and Research Institutes to develop and implement effective research communications plans
  • Collaborate with the wider research communications and engagement community in the university to showcase the breadth and depth of research in the Faculty of Humanities
  • Provide support, expertise, and advice to individual academics, academic project teams, and Research Institutes
