Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain wastewater treatment plants to ensure efficient and effective removal of harmful materials and chemicals.
- Monitor and control processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular tests and inspections to ensure water quality meets or exceeds industry standards.
- Operate and maintain pumps, motors, and filtration systems to ensure optimal water treatment.
- Monitor and adjust chemical levels to ensure safe and effective treatment.
- Use computerized systems to monitor and control plant processes.
- Develop and implement emergency response protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure plant equipment is functioning properly.
- Candidate must possess a valid C Wastewater Operator's License.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1 year of experience in wastewater treatment operations.
