Job Title: Front Desk Agent

As a Front Desk Agent at Fairmont Pittsburgh, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional experience. Your role will involve greeting guests, managing guest registrations, and ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests with a warm welcome and provide personalized service
  • Manage guest registrations, including check-in and check-out, and update guest profiles accurately
  • Issue keys and maintain guest privacy and discretion
  • Settle guest accounts and maintain accurate records
  • Assist guests with inquiries and provide information about hotel facilities
  • Drive revenue through room upsells and cross-promotion of other hotel outlets
  • Build strong relationships with support departments
  • Resolve guest issues and escalate to Supervisor or Manager when necessary
Requirements:
  • Ability to work all shifts, including overnights, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous experience in Front Office operations in a luxury setting is an asset
  • Operational knowledge and proficiency in Front Office Systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficiency in English required, bilingual is an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong guest service orientation and ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to work as part of a large, diverse team
Additional Information:
  • Physical Aspects of Position: Constant walking and standing during shift, occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
