Job Summary

As a Family Intervention Specialist at Youth Villages, you will play a critical role in providing intensive home-based therapy to families with at-risk youth. This position requires a strong understanding of clinical case management and therapeutic interventions, as well as the ability to work effectively with families in a variety of settings.

Responsibilities
  • Carry a small caseload of 4-6 families and provide intensive home-based therapy to each family 3 times a week.
  • Hold regular supervision meetings with your team to ensure effective case management and coordination.
  • Utilize web-based documentation tools to track progress and communicate with colleagues.
  • Provide on-call availability to families during the week and one weekend each month.
  • Drive up to 60-80 miles to meet with families in their homes, as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, such as Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Two years of post-graduation experience (4,000 hours) with at-risk youth and families, or one year of experience (2,000 hours) with a Master's degree.
  • Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
