Conduct outreach to both current and former customer accounts. Manage sales initiatives within the designated area by keeping clients informed about available services, pricing, and new product introductions.
Deliver exceptional customer service through various channels including in-person visits, phone inquiries, and electronic communications.

Oversee all aspects of the sales process including order management, payment processing, and ensuring the accuracy of order details to facilitate correct product delivery.

Suggest alternative products based on cost-effectiveness, availability, or specifications as necessary.
Track and manage scheduled delivery dates to ensure prompt shipment and coordinate with manufacturing, sales, distribution, and suppliers as needed.
Drive new and repeat sales by providing timely product and technical information.
Educate clients on product features, terminology, and benefits to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction.
Provide accurate information regarding stock availability. Conduct inventory counts as required. Restock showroom items as necessary. Assist clients with warranty claims and returns.

Work collaboratively with the Branch Manager to identify effective solutions to customer issues, ensuring satisfaction and compliance with company policies.

Coordinate problem resolution with relevant departments.
Manage daily cash transactions, including end-of-shift cash counts and preparing deposit slips.

Regularly engage with customers to assess satisfaction with products and services, while monitoring competitive activities and trends within the market.

Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on sales activities. Enhance knowledge of HVAC products and stay updated on industry trends.

Collaborate effectively with all levels of management and colleagues to ensure cohesive teamwork and the delivery of superior service.

Understand and adhere to operational procedures, work instructions, and company policies.
May require travel to client locations for follow-ups, presentations, or demonstrations.
Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and product movement, while safely operating a forklift.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required Knowledge & Skills:
Familiarity with HVAC equipment and products is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and knowledgeable in database management.
Strong customer service and relationship management skills through various communication channels.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, effectively managing challenging customer interactions.

Ability to build rapport and demonstrate effective listening skills. Professional phone and email etiquette are essential.

Exhibit professionalism, patience, and tact in all interactions.
Ability to manage high volumes of customer inquiries.
Strong verbal communication skills to convey technical information clearly.
Proficient written communication skills for timely email correspondence and accurate order entry.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
High attention to detail and accuracy. Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrate sound judgment, strong work ethic, and integrity in all tasks.

Ability to assist in warehouse duties and operate a forklift safely and efficiently.

Comprehend and follow established procedures, work instructions, and company policies.
Experience: Minimum of 6 years in progressive sales and customer service roles, with at least 5 years in the HVAC sector.
Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent; some college education preferred. HVAC certification is a plus.
