Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hotel Engineer III to join our team at JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction and comfort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests with minimal supervision
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication
  • Identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment
  • Maintain inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed
  • Communicate with guests and colleagues to resolve maintenance issues
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and vocational or technical background
  • Extensive experience in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration
  • Valid Driver's License and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
  • Supervisory experience is not required
