About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our US & Canadian based software engineering team. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in building and enhancing our industry-leading platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop our backend platform using real-time, event-driven systems, services, and features.
  • Build and maintain our frontend platform using the React framework.
  • Write high-quality code with high test coverage and documentation.
  • Develop, support, and improve our GraphQL and REST APIs.
  • Promote and enforce our documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with the QA engineering team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
  • Contribute to the short and long-term technical vision of your squad.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers within your team and others.
Requirements
  • 3-6+ years of experience in engineering roles, ideally in fast-paced SaaS environments.
  • Strong experience with modern JavaScript/ECMAScript code.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
  • Strong experience with developing and testing applications/components that work optimistically in a production environment.
  • Strong experience with using GraphQL API using Apollo.
  • Prior knowledge or ability to quickly learn React Native for mobile development.
  • Prior knowledge or ability to quickly learn Material-UI component library.
  • Prior knowledge or ability to quickly learn developing in a CI/CD environment.
  • Prior knowledge or familiarity with Python for back-end development.
  • Familiarity with Jest, unit testing, debugging, profiling, performance monitoring.
  • B.S., M.S. or PhD from top university in computer science, engineering or related fields.
