Highly Skilled Diesel Fleet Mechanic Wanted

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel equipment, including tractors and trailers. This involves troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and completing all necessary repairs within company standards.
Key responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, handling road service calls, and ensuring a safe working environment in compliance with regulations.
Candidates should have several years of hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
We offer competitive compensation, starting at $28-$33 per hour depending on experience.

This role requires Sunday-Thursday nights, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM work schedule. The ideal candidate must be able to read and communicate in English, have prior experience in administering an appropriate PM program, and possess CDL A and DOT certification (preferred).
You will also be required to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs, manage multiple functions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, and work overtime when needed.
Key Qualifications and Skills- Ability to comply with EPA and OSHA regulations pertaining to the shop and fleet.
- Refrigeration experience is preferred.
- Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs.
- Succesfully demonstrated independent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to communicate with co-workers and drivers with demonstrated teamwork skills.
