Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Neuro Progressive Care Unit team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
About the Role- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered, applying sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients, directing and guiding ancillary personnel and maintaining standards of professional nursing.
- A competitive salary range of $68,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

- RN license and current BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role or setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
