POSITION SUMMARY

Execute opening and closing responsibilities, which include organizing necessary supplies and equipment, ensuring cleanliness of all work areas, and securing premises. Prepare, stock, and uphold service areas. Process customer orders through the cash register system and handle payments efficiently. Record orders in the MICROS system and craft food and beverage items, particularly coffee specialties. Monitor the operation of appliances, ensuring they are activated and deactivated at the correct times. Maintain cleanliness of coffee service areas and dining tables. Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment throughout the shift. Manage cash requirements based on anticipated business volume. Perform cash count at the end of the shift, complete necessary cashier reports, address any discrepancies, and secure cash deposits.

Adhere to all organizational and safety protocols; report incidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management; and complete all required safety training and certifications. Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information while safeguarding company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards, proactively addressing their service needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and expressing gratitude to guests sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally with others. Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and collaborate to achieve common objectives. Ensure compliance with quality standards and expectations. Read and verify information in various formats. Conduct visual inspections of tools and equipment to identify any defects. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods as required. Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, necessitating fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Navigate through confined or elevated spaces and manage stairs or service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform additional reasonable job duties as assigned by Supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: No prior experience required.

Supervisory Experience: Not applicable.

License or Certification: None required.
