POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for executing opening and closing tasks, which include preparing necessary supplies and equipment, maintaining cleanliness of all areas, and securing premises. Set up, stock, and uphold workstations. Process customer orders through the cash register system and handle payment transactions. Take orders, log them in the MICROS system, and prepare food and beverage items. Ensure that all appliances, such as coffee makers, are operated correctly. Maintain cleanliness of coffee service areas and dining tables. Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment throughout the shift. Manage cash drawer according to expected business levels. Conduct end-of-shift cash counts, complete required cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, and secure cash deposits.
Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security; report any incidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management; and complete necessary safety training and certifications. Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information while safeguarding company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards, proactively address guest service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express gratitude to guests with sincerity. Communicate effectively and professionally with others. Foster positive working relationships and collaborate with team members to achieve shared objectives. Ensure compliance with quality standards and expectations. Accurately read and verify information in various formats. Inspect tools and equipment for defects. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout the entire shift. Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Navigate through confined or elevated spaces, including stairs and service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by Supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: No prior experience required.
Supervisory Experience: Not applicable.
License or Certification: None required.
