Job Description

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to internal and external customers. This includes setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, optimization, and repair of injection molding systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment, order replacement parts, complete repairs, and replace components on machines and/or robots.
  • Work with new and evolving technologies.
  • Conduct testing and inspection on equipment as required.
  • Complete work orders and written reports regularly.
  • Interface effectively across manufacturing, engineering, sales, and service functions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-year Technical Associates degree/diploma.
  • Experience with plastic injection molding equipment, including assembly, testing, service, and engineering.
  • Familiarity with related equipment and products, including machines, molds, robots, and other product handling equipment, is an asset.
  • Knowledge of blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
