As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to internal and external customers. This includes setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, optimization, and repair of injection molding systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment, order replacement parts, complete repairs, and replace components on machines and/or robots.
- Work with new and evolving technologies.
- Conduct testing and inspection on equipment as required.
- Complete work orders and written reports regularly.
- Interface effectively across manufacturing, engineering, sales, and service functions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-year Technical Associates degree/diploma.
- Experience with plastic injection molding equipment, including assembly, testing, service, and engineering.
- Familiarity with related equipment and products, including machines, molds, robots, and other product handling equipment, is an asset.
- Knowledge of blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
