Job Description

As a Senior Systems Engineer at Technomics, you will provide technical leadership and programmatic support to our client acquisition program office. Your expertise will be instrumental in leading Systems Engineering teams in system development and integration, test and evaluation, operations analysis, international, cyber security, and programmatic support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional and cross-organizational Systems Engineering Working Groups and Integrated Product Teams during system development, integration, test, production, and fielding.
  • Provide programmatic services and technical services, including communication with technical Subject Matter Experts, Program PMs, and APMs.
  • Lead oversight of technical baseline, including production and Engineering Change Proposals.
  • Support and provide technical input to risk management, cost analysis, installation planning, and program protection efforts.
  • Develop and/or review technical and programmatic Systems Engineering and Test and Evaluation plans and documentation.
  • Facilitate, participate, and lead SE and T&E meetings, and provide detailed summary records.
  • Support configuration management, including leading technical assessments and recommendations.
  • Maintain program records/library, including SE and T&E strategies, Points of Contact, detailed T&E schedules, work force plans, data and test asset deliveries, SE and T&E risks/concerns, SE and T&E health charts.
  • Draft, review, and staff SE, T&E, and Reliability briefings, point papers, and general correspondence.
  • Staff and draft responses to requests for SE, T&E, and Reliability information and data.
  • Maintain and track SE, T&E, and Reliability related actions.
  • Act as liaison/communication link between internal program office staff and warfare center/laboratory staff, as well as with external organizations.
  • Provide SE, T&E, or Reliability specialty services, as applicable.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Engineering.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • At least 8 years experience in defense, intelligence, and/or civil agency program systems engineering experience.
  • Experience leading systems engineering teams.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience leading cross-functional and/or cross-organizational systems engineering teams.
  • Understanding of weapons and/or automated information systems design, production, operations, and support processes.
  • Understanding of Department of Defense processes for system design, development, production, acquisition, and fielding.
  • Strong understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts/strategies and familiarity with associated tools and modeling languages.
  • Understanding of government technical and programmatic data sources.
  • Demonstrated ability supporting diverse programmatic and technical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to think analytically, creatively, and critically.
  • Ability to precisely and concisely communicate and defend complex analytical results verbally and in various forms of written products.
  • Strong MS Office suite skills.
