About the Role

As a Registered Nurse Medical Oncology Care Unit, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with various types of cancer. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify areas of risk, and develop strategies to prevent complications
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordinated care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • A current Texas RN license and BLS certification
  • At least 2 years of experience in medical oncology or a related field
