Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Oncology Department at our San Antonio location. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The role involves providing professional nursing care for patients adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations.
Responsibilities- Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and other instructional material.
- Prepare and administer therapies under the direction and supervision of a physician.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assigned patient care and treatments provided.
- Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture.
- Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
- Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
