Financial Analyst II

We are seeking a dedicated Accountant II to enhance our financial department by overseeing daily accounting operations.
As part of a skilled team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accuracy and transparency in the organization’s financial dealings. Your responsibilities will include the preparation of financial statements and comprehensive reporting, which are integral to our daily operations.Key Responsibilities- Record and process journal entries to guarantee all financial transactions are accurately documented.
- Manage accounts receivable and generate invoices.
- Handle accounts payable and perform necessary reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents in accordance with legal and organizational accounting standards.
- Review expenses and payroll records as required.
- Maintain financial data in databases to ensure information is precise and readily accessible.
- Conduct thorough analyses, reviews, and audits of assigned programs and accounting functions.
- Review financial reports to detect errors or unrecorded transactions, ensuring proper documentation and prompt resolution of issues.
- Guide junior staff in resolving issues and liaise with internal departments and external clients to address discrepancies.
- Coordinate external audits, preparing necessary schedules and serving as a liaison with auditors.
- Compile and analyze data from various sources, producing and maintaining a range of periodic and ad-hoc reports.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles and demonstrate a high level of comfort with numerical data and attention to detail.
Your contributions will be vital in promoting the efficient functioning of the department, enabling the organization to maintain a clear understanding of its financial status and make informed decisions for long-term success.
Qualifications- Proven experience as a junior accountant.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience that provide the necessary skills and knowledge will be considered.
- A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience is required, with healthcare experience preferred.
At Janus, the base salary is just one aspect of our comprehensive compensation package, which is determined within a competitive range. The base pay for this role is between $33.00 and $36.00 per hour, influenced by your skills, training, qualifications, experience, and relevant education.
