Job Summary

Eaton Aerospace is seeking a skilled Assembler - 2nd Shift Specialist to join our team in the Low Voltage Assembly department. This role is based at our Arden, NC location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work from technical drawings, engineering specifications, and manufacturing information to complete assembly and wiring of control equipment.
  • Determine necessary parts and materials, and prepare requisitions to obtain them from stock.
  • Prepare wire for assembly by cutting, stripping, and attaching terminals. Route out, assemble, wire, adjust, fit, and modify parts, components, and sub-assemblies to form completed control assemblies.
  • May require lifting, bending, ladder work, and other forms of movement.
  • Check electrical and mechanical performance of completed assemblies to ensure conformance to quality standards and make necessary adjustments and alignments.
  • Report irregularities or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
  • Maintain records as required.
  • Observe all safety and hygiene rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • Authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of the work location to be considered. Active-duty military service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
  • Mechanical and electrical background preferred.
  • Able to lift 35 pounds - waist, shoulder, overhead.
  • Able to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Proven history of safe work habits.
  • Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision.
  • Computer skills - Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.
  • Must be able to work overtime - weekdays and weekends.
