Job Summary

The MVCA Assembler 2nd Shift position is responsible for performing winding, assembly, complex and repetitive wiring, and copper operations to produce complete sub-assemblies and final assembly of control equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and wire main breaker units
  • Full mechanical assembly of the overall structure, build/wire doors and electrical devices, build/install copper, and complete full cleanup of structures post-test to ship
  • Ensure that copper connections are braced to meet bracing specifications
  • Ensure that all clearance requirements are maintained
  • Install and wire electrical devices required per Bill of Material and wire diagrams and schematics
  • Maintain build schedule for Main Breaker production demand
  • Work with supervisors/team leads/water spiders to escalate production issues immediately
  • Ensure a safe work environment for self and others
Requirements
  • Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Arden, NC. Active Duty military are exempt from this requirement
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, now and in the future
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in mechanical and wiring roles
