About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the Veterans Health Administration. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality mental health services to our patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to diagnose and treat mental health disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), to patients with a range of mental health conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct research and participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve mental health services.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a psychologist in the state of practice.
  • Experience working with patients with mental health disorders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with veterans or in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatments for mental health disorders.
  • Experience with research and quality improvement initiatives.
