Amergis is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team. As a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in supporting students with mental health and developmental issues, and aiding in qualifying students for additional support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' needs and develop individualized plans to support their academic and personal growth.
  • Provide on-site psychological services to students, including counseling, assessment, and intervention.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement strategies to support students' mental health and well-being.
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans to support students with challenging behaviors.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and other educational planning processes to ensure students receive the support they need.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in school psychology and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Current state licensure or certification in School Psychology.
  • Experience working with students with mental health and developmental issues.

  • Knowledge of child development and learning theories.
