Job Overview

Richmond Auto Auction of Virginia is seeking a Fleet Lease Account Coordinator. This pivotal role involves managing all vehicle pick-up requests from diverse sources. The coordinator will organize weekly Lease/Bank and Damaged and Disabled Sales, ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Sale Day Activities: Assist in the planning and execution of activities on sale days.
  • Data Management: Input essential vehicle information into the system and maintain accurate databases.
  • File Maintenance: Establish, update, and verify vehicle and pricing files to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the title department to secure necessary documents for each vehicle prior to auction.
  • Inventory Oversight: Utilize attention to detail to manage vehicle inventory reports, investigate discrepancies, and confirm sale eligibility.
  • Customer Communication: Partner with various departments to prepare and inform customers about the sale process.
  • Post-Sale Coordination: Follow up on vehicle preparation, reconcile billing, and liaise with relevant partners to resolve any issues.
  • Accounting Liaison: Communicate with the accounting team to balance sales and handle post-sale invoicing as required.
  • Administrative Support: Provide clerical assistance and support special projects, including graphics requests.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as necessary and maintain timely communication regarding operational issues.
  • Sales Maximization: Assist with the 'if' bid process to enhance sales outcomes.
  • Reporting: Contribute to month-end reports and audits.
Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Skills: Highly organized, self-motivated, and disciplined. Strong customer service orientation and computer proficiency are essential. Must be fluent in English.

Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Work Environment: The role involves outdoor work, subject to varying weather conditions, noise levels, and vehicle exhaust fumes.
