Riverside Treatment Apartment Program is seeking a full-time Residential Counselor to provide care, rehabilitative training, support, and supervision for residents. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Residence Manager to enhance community living skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide teaching, monitoring, and recovery-oriented supports in accordance with OMH 593 and 595.
  • Ensure comprehensive planning for residents, including admission, ongoing recovery-oriented services, and discharge.
  • Observe, monitor, document, and report resident behaviors and progress.
  • Assist residents with meal preparation, recreational activities, and household chores.
  • Supervise and document resident medications.
Qualifications
  • RC I: High school diploma or GED required. Human services experience preferred.
  • RC II: QMHS Standard. Bachelor's degree in Human Services, or an Associate's degree in Human Services with 3-years FT related paid experience, or a High school diploma and 5 years related paid experience.
