Job Title: Drywall Project ManagerJob Description

This is a key role that involves overseeing and coordinating drywall installation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, estimation, and project management.

  • Safety: Participate in branch and project safety plans, follow PCI guidelines, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Quality Control: Understand and implement QA/QC measures to ensure high-quality work.
  • Project Management: Create and manage punch lists, prepare RFI's, submittals, and shop drawings.
  • Communication: Coordinate with field supervisors, foremen, and customers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Estimation: Perform quantitative takeoffs, verify estimates, and order materials.
  • Project Scheduling: Create and implement job schedules to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Financial Analysis: Control labor costs, use financial analysis worksheets to optimize profits, and coordinate warranties and O&M's.
  • Vendor Coordination: Assist in selecting vendors, coordinating materials, and issuing contracts.
  • Change Orders: Process and manage change orders with subcontractors.
  • Customer Relations: Support the branch through positive customer relations and active participation in the Customer Alignment Plan.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or comparable degree (desired but not required with commensurate experience).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience; 5 years of total construction experience preferred.
  • Experience with Insulated Metal Panel or Single Skin Panel estimation preferred.
  • Ability to diagnose and process key information, recognize critical areas on the job that could impact profitability, and then actively navigate the project away from risks and liabilities for a successful outcome.
  • Ability to understand and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI's scope of work.
  • Ability to take responsibility for the outcome and results of assigned projects.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word.
  • Superb communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and moral ethics with the ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Self-starter willing to show initiative with sharp time management and organization skills to see to assigned projects effectively.
  • Motivated and positive attitude.
  • OSHA Certification.
  • Thrives in a team environment.
  • Able to work with customers, building strong relationships.
