The Director of Nursing will be responsible for ensuring the provision of quality, compliant patient care through the supervision and coordination of all nursing services. This includes monitoring adherence to regulatory policies and procedures, and representing the facility in a professional manner to patients, families, staff, physicians, and the general public.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate all nursing services to ensure quality patient care.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor adherence to regulatory policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Communication and Representation: Represent the facility in a professional manner to patients, families, staff, physicians, and the general public.
  • Staffing and Performance Management: Participate in staffing processes and handle performance management issues as needed.
  • Education and Training: Recommend and conduct in-services to ensure staff are up-to-date on best practices.

Requirements:

  • Education: Registered nurse in North Carolina.
  • Experience: Preferred minimum of three years of long-term care experience in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, including computer proficiency.
