Job Summary:

As a Production Operator on the motor assembly line, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products in the required quantities. Your responsibilities include:

  • Loading the assembly line with various parts and components.
  • Reading and interpreting diagrams to verify the necessary parts for motor assembly and production.
  • Utilizing basic computer skills and learning the Shop Floor Display system to optimize production processes.
  • Understanding flex flow and day and rank system for following written instructions and production protocols.
  • Operating air hoists for assembly tasks and ensuring safe working practices.
  • Producing defect-free work and meeting production targets and quality standards.
  • Communicating with team members to address equipment defects and order supplies and materials.
  • Upholding workplace safety protocols and reporting any issues or concerns.
  • Performing daily housekeeping duties and overtime work when necessary to meet production demands.
  • Adhering to any other assigned tasks and responsibilities.

Requirements:

● Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• 6 months of industrial experience, military service, or relevant technical courses.

• Prior experience in motor manufacturing is a plus.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States.

● Specialized Skills:

• Stable work history and reliable transportation.

• Ability to adapt to changes and undergo cross-training.

• Attention to detail and willingness to work any shift.

• Proficiency in operating a forklift and lifting heavy components.

● Physical Demands:

• Involves repetitive physical motions and operation of hoists.

• Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and manipulate components.

• Standing on concrete floors for extended periods.
