Position Overview:
The Bartender role is essential in crafting and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring each guest receives exceptional service in accordance with company standards. Key responsibilities include maintaining bar equipment through systematic opening and closing procedures, while promoting a culture that aligns with the company's values among all staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with management and colleagues, promoting a respectful and open work environment.

  • Comply with age restrictions for serving alcoholic beverages.
  • Deliver prompt and friendly service in line with company protocols.
  • Maintain professionalism and ethical conduct at all times.
  • Adhere to company standards for managing potentially intoxicated guests.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of all departmental policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Understand all menu offerings, including liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic selections, and daily specials.
  • Be familiar with appropriate glassware and garnishes for various beverages.
  • Comply with state liquor laws, particularly those concerning service to minors and intoxicated individuals.
  • Have a solid understanding of bar setups, operating hours, pricing, and menu selections.
  • Stay informed about available liquor inventories.
  • Understand the layout of the property, including table and station numbers, capacity, and dress codes.
  • Welcome guests, take orders, and utilize upselling techniques to enhance their experience.
  • Prepare guest checks, process payments, and follow cash handling procedures.
Qualifications:

A minimum of two years of experience and/or training in mixology, beverage service, or food service; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
